Job Position – Electrical Estimator

Location – Sharjah

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team in our Regional office in Sharjah. In this role, you will be responsible for the full cycle of tender estimation, from studying tender documents and preparing cost analyses to negotiating with clients and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

– Study tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
– Prepare tender study reports and analyze project scopes.
– Obtain competitive quotations from subcontractors and vendors.
– Implement tender strategies as communicated by management.
– Liaise with construction/operations teams to establish execution methods.
– Prepare man-hour calculations and direct cost resources.
– Analyze vendor technical and commercial offers.
– Prepare comparative statements and vendor cost studies.
– Prepare bid documents, including commercial and technical submittals.
– Collect and compile vendor data sheets and specifications.
– Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and post-tender negotiations.

Qualifications:

– Minimum 8-10 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the UAE construction industry.
– Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
– Strong understanding of UAE Electrical Code and relevant regulations.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Fluency in English (written and verbal).
